It was always a dream of mine to photograph a couple at a lavender farm. The romantic and whimsical setting was sure to make for some beautiful photo opportunities… and it delivered!

Jakki and Grady were kind enough to drive from Minnesota to Baraboo, WI to this beautiful lavender farm in order to make my lavender field dreams come true! This shoot was somewhat of a challenge because I had to shoot middle of day due to farm hours. But we made it work 🙂

I have known Jakki since 2015 when we met while working in northern Wisconsin together at a local marina. When I got to meet Grady I knew they were the perfect pair! Both coming from backgrounds of snowmobile racing, these two were able to slow it down and bring the heat! Although, July in Wisconsin, there was lots of heat to be had! 😉

I can’t wait to photograph them tying the knot this summer at Legacy Hill Farm! It’ll be such a gorgeous day!
